Special Needs Kids
Another one of my hats is Tallahassee Special Needs Kids Examiner at http://www.examiner.com/x-47022-Tallahassee-Special-Needs-Kids-Examiner. I know, the URL doesn't exactly trip off the tongue. I actually requested from Examiner.com to let me cover this topic, because I feel like there's a need for a clearing house for information for Panhandle-area parents whose kids are in special education. However, I realize how large a topic this is and how far short I've fallen in covering it adequately at the moment. I absolutely welcome input, suggestions, story ideas, and corrections, because this is a labor of love for me.
I also hope that other parents of special needs kids will reach out and make contact, because I'd love to create a virtual network of moms and dads and other caregivers who could offer support, advice and feedback to one another. You can email me directly at AmandaBroadfoot@gmail.com.
